Luther placed it at the end of the Bible to indicate that he considered it less important compared to other books that he believed more clearly conveyed the message of salvation through faith in Christ. Despite Luther's criticisms, the Epistle of James is still considered a valuable part of the New Testament by many Christians for its teachings on practical Christian living and good works. **
